Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These terms cover what you can expect from dipd and what we expect from you. They're a contract between you and us: by creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If something isn't clear, email contact@dipd.ai.
The service
dipd watches public product pages on online stores and emails you when prices drop. You can add products from the web app, the browser extension, or the mobile app. Tracking schedules range from hourly (premium) to weekly.
dipd is currently in early access: features, tiers, and limits may change as the service matures. Price checks and alerts are provided on a best-effort basis; see Disclaimers and liability below.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use dipd. You need a valid email address and the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you're using dipd on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password (or the Google or Apple account you sign in with) secure, and for activity that happens under your dipd account. Tell us right away at contact@dipd.ai if you think someone else has gained access. We may ask you to verify your email before sending alerts.
Acceptable use
You agree not to do any of the following (this list is illustrative, not exhaustive):
- Track URLs at a volume or rate clearly intended to abuse a source site (we may rate-limit or remove such tasks).
- Use dipd to monitor content you don't have a personal shopping interest in (e.g. competitor scraping, data resale).
- Resell, redistribute, or republish data you obtain through dipd without our written permission.
- Access the service by automated means other than our official apps and extension, or circumvent rate limits, tier limits, or other technical restrictions.
- Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to access parts of it you aren't authorized to access.
- Use the service for anything illegal, or to harass or harm others.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules, with prior notice where practicable, or without it where circumstances justify (for example, active abuse).
Plans and pricing
dipd is currently free to use while in early access, organized in tiers with different limits and tracking schedules. Paid subscriptions are not yet available; when they launch, prices and billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase and will form part of these terms from then on. During early access we may adjust tier features and limits at our discretion.
Once paid subscriptions exist, we'll give paying users at least 30 days' notice by email before a price or feature change takes effect for them, subscriptions will auto-renew until cancelled, and you'll be able to cancel any time with effect from the end of the current billing period (not pro-rated).
Outbound links and referrals
Links from dipd to stores pass through a dipd redirect and may include referral or affiliate parameters. We may earn a commission when you buy through such links. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not influence the prices, alerts, or products we show you. Stores are independent third parties: your purchase is solely between you and the store, and we are not a party to that transaction.
Intellectual property
We own the dipd software, the dipd brand, and the look and feel of the service. You own the URLs you choose to track and any notes or tags you create.
When we display product information (titles, prices, images), that content belongs to the original sources. We rely on fair-dealing norms for price comparison and snapshotting; if you're a rights-holder and you want a specific URL excluded from tracking, email contact@dipd.ai.
Service availability
We aim to keep dipd available, but we don't promise an uptime SLA. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any feature (or the service as a whole) at any time, particularly during early access. Prices and availability we show may lag the source site by minutes or hours depending on your tracking schedule, and source sites can change layouts or block scraping at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
dipd is a heads-up tool, not a guarantee. Prices are extracted automatically, including by AI, from pages that change constantly. Extracted prices can be wrong, stale, or missing, and alerts can be missed, delayed, or triggered incorrectly. Always confirm the price on the source site before purchasing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- dipd is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
- We are not liable for purchasing decisions you make based on information shown in dipd, for missed deals due to downtime or failed checks, for the conduct or content of third-party stores, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost savings.
- Our total liability to you for all claims combined is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you're on the free tier, EUR 50).
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Indemnification
If your use of dipd in violation of these terms, or your violation of law or of third-party rights, results in a claim against us, you agree to defend and indemnify us (that is, to cover the losses, damages, and reasonable legal costs we incur as a result) to the extent permitted by the consumer-protection law that applies to you.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, that go unused for an extended period, or where required by law, with prior notice where practicable, or without it where circumstances justify. We may also discontinue the service as described under Service availability. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers and liability, Indemnification, Governing law, and General) survive it. When an account is deleted, we handle remaining data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sarajevo, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your own country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes we'll update the date above and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree to a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect; continuing to use dipd after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
General
- Severability: if part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Entire agreement: these terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about dipd.
- No waiver: if we don't enforce a provision, that isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the service.
- Force majeure: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
